Kim has a strong accounting background that began in collegiate education at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she served in various roles, but most recently as Assistant Dean of the College of Business and Assistant Professor of Accounting. During her tenure, she co-authored several articles that were published by The CPA Journal and the Today’s CPA. Her transition into public accounting finds her specializing in assurance and attestation services. She also enjoying providing our clients with corporate/individual tax services. The combination of her higher education and public accounting experience provide her with a solid foundation to listen to a client’s need and work with them to find solutions.
Kim earned a Master of Business Administration from The University of Tennessee and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting from Samford University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA).
It was an honor for Kim to serve as the treasurer for the Tennessee Society of Accounting Educators and as President of the Leadership Chattanooga Alumni Association.
Kim and her husband have one son. Her time away from the office is typically spent in the bleachers supporting her husband and son. Her hobbies include tennis, spending time with her family and friends and serving her church.
