JOHN BEDSOLE, CPA, CVA

PARTNER

As a partner at Kalifeh Bedsole Adams, John joined the firm in 2011. His professional expertise in business valuation and consulting, as well as tax, audit and assurance services enable him to guide clients through a broad range of complex business conditions. After graduate school, John began working as an associate for a Big Four accounting firm in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2009, he returned home to Mobile where he continues to help clients navigate unique accounting and business conditions.

John earned a Bachelor of Science in both Commerce and Business Administration in 2002 and went on to earn a Master of the Arts in Economics in 2003 from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa. He continued his education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill earning his Master of Accounting in 2006.

John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

Community service and involvement is important to John. He served as a member of the vestry at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. John is also currently involved in the Epilepsy Foundation of Alabama and the Murray House where he serves as treasurer for both organizations.

John and his wife, Amy Russell Bedsole, have to two boys, Thomas and Joseph. In his spare time, John is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing and hunting with his sons.
