John Bedsole, CPA/ABV, CVA

Shareholder

As a shareholder at Kalifeh Bedsole Adams, John joined the firm in 2011. His professional expertise in business valuation and consulting, tax, audit and assurance services allow him to guide clients through broad ranges of complex business conditions. After graduate school, John began working as an associate for a Big Four accounting firm in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2009, he returned home to Mobile where he continues to help clients navigate unique accounting and business conditions.

John earned a Bachelor of Science in both Commerce and Business Administration in 2002 and went on to earn a Master of the Arts in Economics in 2003 from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa. He continued his education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill earning his Masters of Accounting in 2006. John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA), the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA) and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA).

Community service and involvement are important to John. He has served as a member of the vestry at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. John is currently involved in Habitat for Humanity of Southern Alabama, Community Foundation of South Alabama and the Murray House where he serves as treasurer for two of the organizations.

John and his wife have two sons. In his spare time, John is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing and hunting with his sons.
