Daniel joined the firm in September 2021. A native of Mobile, he has 15 years of experience in public accounting serving Mobile and the surrounding areas. His expertise ranges from financial statement accounting and auditing engagements of various types, including insurance companies, construction contractors, and employee benefit plans, to individual and business income taxation of many different entities and industries, including real estate and timber.
Daniel is a 2006 graduate of Auburn University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. He also attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham for post-graduate studies in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA) and was part of the ASCPA’s Class VI Leadership Academy.
Daniel has a daughter and a son, and his hobbies and interests include playing golf, watching sports, and all things Auburn, as well as traveling, music, art, and cooking.
